It was night and the sky was darkly blue, and the sea mirrored that.

My description/meaning of the poem.

• the sky is Me. 
• the sea is John. 
• ("Yes, I am your angel" song is kind of mentions)
• mirrored (bit) is a reflection of our love in soulmates (P.S. John & I)
• the night means opinions, freedom & peace, opportunity
